Flight School Scheduler

Build today's flight and maintenance schedule, then rebalance which aircraft flies each slot to keep the fleet spaced apart on tach time.

How this works
  1. Add your fleet. Enter each aircraft's tail number, type, current tach reading, and the tach reading at which it's due for maintenance. Group by type — the optimizer only ever swaps aircraft within the same type.
  2. Build today's schedule. Pick "Add flight" or "Block maintenance," then drag across a row to lay down a block. Click any block to remove it, or drag back over a selection to shrink it before releasing.
  3. Hit Optimize. It reassigns which aircraft flies each slot (times stay exactly as drawn) to protect whichever plane is closest to its maintenance limit, so the fleet's due dates spread apart instead of clustering together.
  4. Read the margins. The bars at the bottom show hours left before maintenance and how the "tightest gap" between aircraft changed from your original schedule to the optimized one.
  5. Your fleet list and settings are saved automatically in this browser. Today's schedule is not — it's meant to be redrawn fresh each day.
